Terms of use

1. The service

Portofol is a bookkeeping tool: invoices, purchases, bank and cash, payroll, fixed assets, journal, VAT return, reports and deadlines. It calculates by the rules of Kosovo as encoded in the app and published on the site. Responsibility for the accuracy of the data you enter, for the returns you file and for payments to the Tax Administration stays with the office or company filing them. Portofol is not tax or legal advice.

2. The account

You must be at least 18 and use an email address you control. You are responsible for your password and for everything done with your account. An office can have several users; every user sees all of the office's companies.

3. Your data

The books you keep are yours. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. You can export them at any time and delete the account from the settings.

4. Payment

The free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, with VAT as the law requires. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; there is no refund for a period already started, unless the law requires one.

5. Acceptable use

The service may not be used for unlawful purposes, to harm the system, to access other offices' data, or to be resold to third parties without an agreement with us.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service up at all times and keep daily backups, but give no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months. We are not liable for fines, interest or losses arising from inaccurate data entered by the user or from late filings.

8. Termination

You can close the account whenever you want. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice where possible, and give you the chance to export the data.

9. Changes and law

Changes to the terms are published here with a new date; material changes are announced by email 30 days in advance. The law of the Republic of Kosovo applies; disputes are settled by the competent courts in Prishtina.
